Stephanie Ortensi, FNP-C
Stephanie Ortensi, family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), has 13 years of experience as a nurse and
is an oncology-certified nurse.
Stephanie was born and raised in Idaho Falls. After caring for her grandparents, she was inspired
to pursue a career in health care.
She began her career in Med/Surg, ICU, and inpatient Oncology, where she found her love and
passion for treating oncology patients. She started at Teton Cancer Institute ten years ago as a
chemotherapy infusion nurse and has spent the last seven years as a Nurse Navigator with Dr.
Shull.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, and
a Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Her
board certification is through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She enjoys cooking, hiking, backpacking, and traveling the world in her free time. She and her
husband have two sons and a daughter.
