Peter Hale, MD
Dr. Peter Hale is delighted to return to southeast Idaho and rejoin Teton Cancer Institute!
Dr. Hale is the seventh of nine children and was raised in northern Virginia. He received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Upon completion of this degree, he worked as a medical assistant for Teton Oncology and Mountain View Hospital. He found satisfaction in providing oncology care to southeast Idaho and left to pursue more extensive training with hopes of returning again someday.
He completed medical school and an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Utah. He remained in Salt Lake City for his fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Institute of the University of Utah where he was the Chief Fellow for the final year of his training.
Dr. Hale is adjunct faculty at the University of Utah, has been a member of the American Medical Society and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Hale and his wife, who is a native of Snake River, have two daughters. He is passionate about fly fishing, enjoys spending time with his family, camping and hiking.
